Peter, Pirates, Princesses, and Snow!

Hello from the Great Frozen North,

My first week in Wolfville wouldn't be complete without a blizzard. Wednesday we had another big snow storm that covered everything in white again. Prior to that all of the snow had melted. One of the members said we should be getting another big storm this week.

We had the first two concerts this past weekend. The first one was in Dartmouth, and if I remember correctly there were somewhere between 300 and 400 people in attendance. We had a lot of fun putting the concert together, complete with props for the singers and video clips for some of the instrumental pieces. The second of the concerts was in New Glasgow. There will be three more weekends of concerts (happening every other weekend) and I am excited to continue to be a part of such an inspired idea. Hopefully there will be some clips of the concert on the YouTube channel soon.

Sister Aslett and I are teaching a few people that are preparing for baptism. One of them is from Ghana. He is a student at Acadia University. He has a few Mormon friends back home and even went to church with them there. We are excited to continue teaching him and helping him prepare for baptism.

As always, thanks for your support and prayers!
Favorite scripture for this week: 3 Nephi 9:13. Christ has the power to heal us, spiritually and physically through His Atonement. Trust in Him. :)
Love,
Sister Renda
She looks so happy!
